According to CoinDesk, Bitcoin infrastructure development firm Blockstream has opened a new R & D center in Lugano, Switzerland, aimed at driving fintech innovation on Bitcoin Liquid and the Lightning Network. The center will provide resources, mentoring, and project funding to accelerate L2 technology innovation through collaboration with local startups and partners, the team said.
