It has become an Asian ETF hub, covering 194 products, with a market value of 495 billion yuan at the end of October.
The launch of virtual asset ETFs in Hong Kong has opened up new investment areas for investors. After the first bitcoin and ether futures ETFs in Asia were listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2022, the first virtual asset spot ETF in Asia was launched in April this year, and the first bitcoin reverse product in Asia was launched in July. There are currently 10 virtual asset ETFs listed in Hong Kong, with a total market capitalization of 3.60 billion yuan at the end of October.
