Major European stock indexes opened lower

On December 20th, major European stock indexes continued their decline yesterday, with the European Stoxx 50 index falling 0.7%, the German DAX index falling 0.8%, the British FTSE 100 index falling 0.2%, the French CAC40 index falling 0.3%, the Spanish IBEX 35 index falling 0.6%, and the Italian FTSE MIB index falling 0.8%.
