Democrats don't like Trump, but they're looking forward to Biden leaving office

According to The Hill, US President Joe Biden is preparing to leave the White House in a low-key manner. His public appearances after the election attracted little attention from the media. Instead, Trump had captured much of the public's attention even before his second inauguration. Republicans said Biden's absence from major moments was to be expected. However, Democrats have done little to support their party leader, instead expressing their expectation of Biden leaving office, even if they do not like the person who will take office next. Some Democrats said they did not mind Trump stealing the show in his final month, noting that he did not behave improperly and appeared more restrained than he did eight years ago. Some sources say Biden's pardon of his son has left Democrats "disgusted" and "thoroughly" annoyed with "the whole Biden world". That's the feeling many Democrats already have about Biden, who they believe should have chosen not to run for re-election, or should have withdrawn from the 2024 race earlier. "Losing is no fun... I wouldn't say it's Biden fatigue, it's more of a'ok, too bad, get ready for the next (general election) 'feeling," said Ivan Zapian, a former DNC official.
