Standard Chartered: Institutional investors or push BTC and ETH prices to $200,000 and $10,000, respectively

Geoff Kendrick, global head of digital asset research at Standard Chartered, said inflows from institutional investors could drive up the price of bitcoin and ethereum, which are expected to reach $200,000 and $10,000, respectively, by the end of 2025.
He expects institutional inflows into bitcoin in 2025 to exceed 2024 levels, with new money likely to come from long-term investment funds such as pension funds. At the same time, he pointed out that institutional inflows could dampen the strength of the small coin season.
