Argentina's president, Javier Milei, is facing impeachment threats for backing a cryptocurrency called LIBRA, which was purportedly designed to support small businesses but actually crashed and lost billions of dollars in value within hours.
In an X post published late Friday (now deleted), Millay promoted LIBRA as a privately run project to raise funds for small and medium-sized companies in Argentina, adding that he would not personally benefit from the project.
