Polkadot 2.0 progress: Elastic extensions will be fully launched in Q2, marking the delivery of Polkadot 2.0

PolkaWorld shared the current progress of Polkadot 2.0, the value of elastic expansion, and the timeline. Currently in 2.0, asynchronous support and Agile Coretime have been launched. It is expected that in the second quarter of 2025, elastic expansion will be fully launched on Polkadot, which will also mark the delivery of Polkadot 2.0 (i.e. Cloud). It is reported that Polkadot 2.0 is the next generation upgrade version of the Polkadot network, with the goal of improving the scalability, flexibility and efficiency of the entire blockchain ecosystem.
