On April 14th, according to FT reports, Safe Superintelligence (SSI), an AI startup founded by OpenAI co-founder Ilya Sutskever, has raised $2 billion in its latest financing, valuing the company at $32 billion, although no product has been released yet. This round of financing was led by Greenoaks ($500 million), with participation from Lightspeed Venture and a16z. SSI is committed to developing systems that go beyond existing AI models, focusing on achieving breakthroughs beyond human intelligence. The company was founded in June 2024 and is headquartered in Palo Alto, California and Tel Aviv, Israel.
