U.S. Treasury Secretary: No evidence that sovereign investors are selling off U.S. assets

Mr. Bescent, the Treasury secretary, said he did not expect a sell-off in US assets in the bond market. This is one of the occasional shocks in the trading world. I have seen increased foreign competition in US debt auctions. The dollar remains the global reserve currency. There is no evidence that sovereign investors are selling US assets.
