Domestic brain-computer interface chips have achieved new breakthroughs, breaking the mark of import dependence, and our country's brain-computer interface has achieved independent control of the whole chain
On April 18th, the School of Biomedical Engineering of Hainan University officially announced today that Hainan University has officially released its self-developed implantable brain-computer interface (BCI) core technology and series of products, including the world's leading brain-computer interface dedicated chip, neural signal acquisition system, neural signal regulation system and nerve cell positioning system. This breakthrough marks our country's achievement of full-chain technology autonomy in the field of brain-computer interface, injecting "China core" power into brain science research and medical applications. According to reports, Hainan University's core technology breaks import dependence and its performance reaches the international top level. The brain-computer chip neuroengineering team of Hainan University has developed a variety of core chips around invasive brain-computer interfaces, including: SX-R128S4 high-throughput neural signal acquisition and stimulation chip, SX-S32 high-degree-of-freedom neural modulation chip, and SX-WD60 low-power wireless transmission chip. The above chips realize full-link coverage of brain-computer interface signal acquisition, regulation, and transmission, and the performance is benchmarked with international first-line products.
