On April 28th, US lawmakers returned to Congress after the Easter recess, making crypto legislation a priority, with the goal of completing the stablecoin and market structure bill by the August deadline set by President Trump. The House Financial Services Committee and the Agriculture Committee will hold a joint hearing on May 6 to discuss the digital asset legislative blueprint. The Senate is also integrating the content of the Lummis-Gillibrand Act 2022 and the FIT21 Act.
