Pencil Finance Announces Completion of $10 million Liquidity Pool Funding Backed by Animoca Brands

On April 30th, Pencil Finance, an education finance (EduFi) RWA protocol, announced that it has successfully completed a $10 million liquidity pool financing supported by Animoca Brands and Open Campus to support Pencil Finance's first on-chain education loans and debt financing for education companies. The funds have been deployed in Pencil Finance's liquidity pool on the Open Campus EDU Chain.
Pencil Finance will partner with traditional education loan companies to bring education loans in South East Asia and the United States to the chain, opening up a new asset class for on-chain investors. At the same time, Pencil Finance will help reduce the interest rate of education loans by providing on-chain interest-bearing opportunities for traditional education loan companies.
