Former SafeMoon CEO Braden John Karony spoke out on the X platform at the start of his criminal trial in New York, saying he was "innocent" and "did not commit fraud". The Eastern District Court revealed that Karony implied that Kyle Nagy, founder of SafeMoon, who had fled to Russia, was responsible for some of the alleged fraud. Karony was charged with securities fraud conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering conspiracy and was released on $3 million bail in February 2024. The trial is expected to last until May 26.
