Bitcoin Suisse report: Meme and AI projects performed well in April, while DeFi projects were under pressure

According to Bitcoin Suisse data, the crypto asset market in April 2025 showed the characteristics of plate differentiation. The price of AI project Virtuals Protocol rose 207%, becoming one of the most significant assets in the month, with a market capitalization of more than $1 billion; Fartcoin and Brett in the Solana ecosystem achieved price increases of 132% and 112% respectively. In the DeFi sector, Uniswap, Celestia and Toncoin recorded price declines of -13%, -15% and -21% respectively. According to the data, among the top 100 crypto assets, 78 assets rose in price and 22 assets fell in price. In terms of transaction size, the 30-day trading volume of Virtuals and Fartcoin was 15.218 billion and 7.206 billion dollars respectively.
