Bitcoin Infrastructure Alpen Labs Launches BTC Stablecoin BTD Backed by BTC Collateral

Bitcoin infrastructure Alpen Labs has announced the launch of BTC-backed stablecoin BTD, designed to eliminate governance, token, and custody risks, and provide native benefits and security through Alpen's Zero Knowledge (ZK) Rollup technology. It is reported that BTD will be fully over-collateralized in Bitcoin. Unlike other similar stablecoins, by leveraging Liquity V2's zero-governance architecture on Bitcoin ZK Rollup, Alpen Labs intends to develop BTD as a neutral protocol rather than an enterprise product.
