Counterfeit products seasonal index rises to 24

On February 17, Coinmarketcap data showed that the Altcoin Season Index of counterfeit products is now 24, up 2 points from yesterday (22 yesterday). The index shows that in the past 90 days, about 38 of the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization have surpassed Bitcoin, and the market is still in the season dominated by Bitcoin.
It is reported that the CMC Cryptocurrency Counterfeit Products Quarterly Index is a real-time indicator to determine whether the current cryptocurrency market is in a season dominated by counterfeit products. The index is based on the performance of the top 100 counterfeit products relative to Bitcoin over the past 90 days.
