Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said at a briefing after a phone call with US President Donald Trump on the 19th that he emphasized three key demands on the phone with Trump for the first time that day: the need for a ceasefire, the imposition of sanctions on Russia, and the United States "not to make any decisions on matters related to Ukraine without the participation of Ukraine". Zelensky said that Russia and Ukraine could sign a memorandum first, as Russian President Vladimir Putin said, and then sign an agreement to end the full-scale conflict. At the same time, Zelensky also pointed out that the specific content of the proposed memorandum with Russia is not yet clear.
