National Development and Reform Commission Zhao Chengfeng: Issue the 2025 urban renewal special project central budget investment plan by the end of June

On May 20, Zhao Chengfeng, head of the Fixed Asset Investment Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, said at the press conference of the State Information Office that the National Development and Reform Commission will continue to promote various tasks of urban renewal and increase central investment support. This year, the central budget invests in special projects for urban renewal to support the construction of public welfare infrastructure and public service facilities related to urban renewal. On the basis of supporting projects such as the reconstruction of old urban quarters and urban villages, the encirclement supports projects such as the transformation and quality improvement of urban dangerous and old housing, old neighborhoods, and old factory areas. At present, the National Development and Reform Commission is organizing plan application and project review, and will issue the 2025 urban renewal special project central budget investment plan before the end of June this year.
