Lido protocol developer pshe.eth tweeted that the draft RFC of the Lido V3 white paper has been published. Lido contributors have been working on a new architectural direction for the protocol, which revolves around stVaults, an isolated staking position that decouples Ethereum's staking methods (e.g. node operators, fees, risk appetite, Sidecar modules, etc.) from the liquidity layer. It is expected that stVaults will become a highly composable foundation component that can serve as a core building block for creating policy, protocol, and institutional staking products. The current draft covers a wide range of design areas and is expected to continue to be refined in the coming weeks, with the goal of getting the manuscript ready by the middle of this summer.
