Google launches AI mode search for US users

Google (GOOG. O) announced on May 20 local time that from that day, all US users will be able to activate "AI mode" in Google search and Chrome browser. AI mode is a tab in search where users can directly interact with AI models, similar to ChatGPT.
Google is positioning the product as a space where users can ask more complex questions and ask deeper questions. Over time, Google will bring features from the AI model to AI Overviews, using AI to answer some questions on the search homepage.
