President Donald Trump said he was encouraged by the European Union's acceleration of trade talks. "I just learned that the European Union has offered to set a date for talks as soon as possible. This is a positive signal and I hope they open their markets to the United States," Mr. Trump said in a post on social media on Tuesday.
