CME Group plans to launch four cryptocurrency reference rates and real-time indices on June 2

Derivatives marketplace CME Group and cryptocurrency benchmark index provider CF Benchmarks announced plans to launch four cryptocurrency reference rates and real-time indices, Arbitrum, Ondo, NEAR, and Sui. These new benchmarks will leverage pricing data from at least two current constituent exchanges in the CME CF benchmark reference rate and real-time index suite, including Bitstamp, Bullish, Coinbase, Crypto.com, Gemini, itBit, Kraken, and LMAX Digital, to provide market participants with clear and transparent pricing data to more accurately evaluate portfolios or create structured products. Currently, the CFS reference rate and real-time index cover 28 cryptocurrencies.
