ZachXBT: The claim that Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht's auction donations may be "self-donated" may not be true

According to ZachXBT monitoring, according to the latest investigation, previous claims that the auction donations of Ross Ulbricht, the founder of the "Silk Road", may be "self-donated" may not be true.
The analysis revealed that the two bitcoin addresses were chronologically linked to a 300 BTC donation received by Ross Ulbricht (from the mixer Jambler). 1Mp5hH of bitcoin can be traced back to exchange activity in late 2014. 1CNDW had exchange activity in 2019 and was previously flagged in the compliance tool.
Both addresses were dormant after November 2019 until they made large deposits to Jambler between April and May 2025, similar to the time Ross Ulbricht received the payments.
