Nasdaq filed Form 8-K with the Securities Exchange Commission confirming its proposal to expand the crypto benchmark from five to nine digital assets, adding $XRP, $SOL, $ADA, and $XLM to allow the Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index U.S. ETF (NCIQ) to transition to a broader index.
The SEC's decision deadline is expected to be November 2, 2025.
