The victim was imprisoned for several days and had his fingers cut off. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of 8 million dollars. On June 4, Morocco arrested a mastermind of a French series of cryptocurrency kidnappings. On May 26, Paris also arrested 12 related suspects.
