ConsenSys founder: LINEA token will be issued soon

In response to a question about whether MetaMask would issue a token, ConsenSys founder Joseph Lubin said, "We have a short-term and medium-term plan and strategy, the core is to protocol existing products and other plans. The Web3 protocol is inseparable from tokens. The first to go live will be LINEA, which will be launched soon. More to come soon."
