Bullish sentiment towards emerging markets is at its highest level in more than two years, according to HSBC's quarterly survey of 100 fund managers. Some 44 per cent of respondents are now optimistic about emerging markets over the next three months, up from 36 per cent in March and the highest level since March 2023. The survey, which covers funds managing a total of $414 billion in emerging markets, said: "The consensus remains that emerging market equities will move higher and outperform developed market equities over the next three months."
