The US House of Representatives voted to shelve the impeachment proposal against Trump

On Tuesday afternoon local time, the House of Representatives rejected a lawmaker's proposal to impeach Trump by a bipartisan vote. Lawmakers agreed to put the measure on hold, a procedural mechanism that allows lawmakers to vote against consideration of a bill without having to vote on the bill itself.
