According to Dune Analytics data, Ethereum blobs are being used to create inscriptions at a record speed, much like Ordinals on Bitcoin. According to a Dune Analytics user named Hildoby, 2437 blob inscriptions appeared on March 27th, accounting for 22.8% of the blobs released that day. Compared to the situation with Ethereum L2, inscriptions accounted for the highest proportion of blobs released on Wednesday. In addition, the increase in blob inscriptions coincided with a surge in Base fees, reaching $300 and then dropping to around $30. Hildoby stated that the inscriptions on the EVM chain embed data in transactions, much like Ordinals on Bitcoin.
