OpenAI will open GPT-4o voice mode to Plus users this week

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman recently revealed on social media that the Alpha version of GPT-4o's Voice Mode will be available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers this week to help users have smooth conversations without delay.
According to current public information, ChatGPT voice mode is not intuitive due to its average latency of 2.8 seconds (GPT-3.5) and 5.4 seconds (GPT-4), while GPT-4o will significantly reduce latency and enable seamless conversations.
