The US core CPI fell to a three-year low in June

The unseasonally adjusted core CPI in the United States recorded an annual rate of 3.3% in June, below market expectations of 3.4% and falling back to the lowest level since April 2021. The quarterly adjusted core CPI monthly rate in June recorded 0.1%, the lowest level since August 2021, and the market expectation was 0.2%.
