Ethereum Core Developers: Pectra Upgrade Will Introduce Features That Increase Validators' Effective Balances

Ethereum core developer timbeiko.eth said in a post on the X platform that for stakers, Pectra will introduce a function to increase the validator's effective balance. This means that small operators can directly increase the value of the pledge, while large operators can consolidate validators to reduce the bandwidth consumption of the p2p network. The function also eliminates the PoW follow distance before merging, shortens the delay in processing validator deposits, and introduces the execution layer to trigger withdrawals, enabling a more trustless stake structure.
