US App Store major adjustment: NFT and cryptocurrency apps can bypass Apple's 30% cut

Apple has been forced to make major changes to its US App Store policy after losing a legal battle with Epic Games. Under the latest rules, app developers can now direct users to external payment methods, bypassing Apple's previously mandated 27-30% commission fee. This move will significantly reduce the operating costs of NFT and cryptocurrency-related applications.
It is reported that Northern California District Court Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers ruled in favor of Epic Games. Although Apple said it would appeal, it has now amended the App Store rules for US regions. It is worth noting that this policy adjustment only applies to the US market, and other regions will still maintain the original restrictions.
