South Korea's presidential election on June 3 is approaching, and virtual asset investors, who account for 36% of the total number of voters, have become a key voting position for various candidates. According to industry estimates, there are about 16 million virtual asset investors in South Korea, and the market size is already equivalent to that of South Korea's KOSPI. Candidates from various parties have proposed policies related to virtual assets: the ruling Democratic Party has promised to advance the Basic Law of Digital Assets, and the opposition National Power Party has proposed seven policies such as liberalizing institutional investment restrictions and allowing ETF trading. Industry insiders said that due to the strong demand of investors for policy relaxation, the voting orientation of this group will have an important impact on the election.
