On May 14, the reporter learned from the Ministry of Commerce on the 14th that according to the "Executive Order on Amending the Reciprocal Tariff Rate to Reflect the Talks with the People's Republic of China" issued by the White House on May 12, the United States has revoked the 91% tariff imposed on Chinese goods (including Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao Special Administrative Region goods) under Executive Order No. 14259 on April 8, 2025 and Executive Order No. 14266 on April 9, 2025, according to the "Executive Order on Amending the Reciprocal Tariff Rate to Reflect the Talks with the People's Republic of China" issued by the White House on May 12. Among them The 24% tariff was suspended for 90 days, and the remaining 10% tariff was retained. At the same time, the US also lowered or revoked the additional tariff on small parcels in China (including small parcels in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region), lowered the ad valorem tax rate on international mail from 120% to 54%, and revoked the measure originally scheduled to increase the specific tax from $100 to $200 per parcel from June 1, 2025.
