On March 12th, at the "Bitcoin For America" summit, Alaska Republican Representative Nick Begich announced that he would introduce the "Bitcoin Act 2025" in the US House of Representatives. The bill is an updated version of Senator Lummis' proposal last year, proposing that the United States acquire 1 million bitcoins (without increasing the burden on taxpayers) and protect the right of American citizens to self-host bitcoins.
"The bill explicitly protects the right of individuals to freely own, hold and trade bitcoin," said Rep. Begich. "It treats self-custody as a fundamental right."

Federal Reserve Hack: The Federal Reserve could still cut interest rates later this year
Mr. Harker said deficits had to be brought under control at a time of growing challenges to the US financial system and was "very concerned" about the current state of government finances. "We are becoming more and more blind on key data," he added. "We are concerned that the quality of economic data is declining. Uncertainty makes forecasting the outlook for monetary policy very difficult. But amid that uncertainty, a rate cut later this year is still possible."

Bank of America: Global stock markets are close to triggering a sell signal
Michael Hartnett, strategist at Bank of America, has warned that technical "sell" signals are about to be triggered after global equities hit record highs this week. Markets are running too hot after surging 20 per cent in just two months, he said. He cited data on flows and market breadth as evidence that investors are piling into risky assets and taking too many positions. Traders often cite this as a bearish signal because of reason...
